Partial Unemployment

"Partial Unemployment" benefits may be available to a claimant participating in a State unemployment program. Unemployment compensation benefits can be are reduced by 50 percent of an applicant's Social Security payment. A partial disability where the claimant is able to engage in gainful, partial employment of any kind will terminate his Social Security disability benefits.
