Benefit Verification Letter

A benefit verification letter or a BEVE letter is an official letter to a claimant putting him on notice and verifying the amount that individual will receive each month in Social Security benefits and/or in Supplemental Security Income payments. These letters usually are issued in response to a request from a beneficiary or a claimant's authorized legal representative.
